Cruising the Cygnet Coast – Kombi style

Join hosts Ruth and Daren in their 1977 Kombi Microbus for a leisurely tour of one of Australia’s best coastal drives.

Imagine cruising through the rolling green hills of Cygnet to come around a winding country road to reveal the majesty of the Huon River.  As the road winds down-river, the views across the water to the mighty Hartz Peak, Adamson's Peak and the Hartz Mountains are like no other throughout Australia.

With numerous vantage points to stop and capture beautiful photographs and memories, the drive along the 36km coast road is leisurely.  Likewise plenty of places to stop and breath in the fresh air and take a stroll along a quiet beach or two.

Depending on the season and weather the gourmet picnic may take place in the middle of a lavender field, vineyard, pear orchard or one of the many exquisite beaches along the way.
